An indoor skate-boarding structure is proposed at a mezzanine level of a commercial space in Los Angeles. The structure is envisioned as a combination of 3 bowls of different sizes, combined and assembled to form a uniform fluid surface, hanging from the mezzanine level. Steel beams and columns form the main structure, with combination of timber framing members. The structure was analyzed for stresses, loads, seismic, dead and live loads defining its framing solutions.
